Stone Buddha’s Birthday

Buddha’s Birthday, also known as Vesak, is a Buddhist festival that commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and death of Gautama Buddha. It’s primarily celebrated on the 8th day of the 4th month in the Chinese lunar calendar in countries like China, Korea, Vietnam, and the Philippines. In other countries, like Japan, it’s celebrated on April 8th of the Gregorian calendar. The date can vary slightly each year but generally falls in April or May. In 2025, Buddha’s Birthday will be celebrated on May 29th.
