Ksitigarbha

Ksitigarbha, also known as Jizo in Japan, is a Bodhisattva primarily revered in East Asian Buddhism, particularly in China and Japan. He is known for his powerful vows to save all beings, especially those suffering in the hell realms, and is often depicted as a monk carrying a staff and a wish-fulfilling jewel.
