Head of a Horse. Study for Equestrian Statue of Christian IX

This head is a study for the equestrian statue of Christian IX which stands overlooking Christiansborg Ridebane on Slotsholmen in Copenhagen. The work was created by Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen  and was the first equestrian statue of a monarch created by a female sculptor.

Our figures are made by hand using high quality natural marble stone therefor each piece is unique and may slightly be different in shape and color.
